Interior Styling
Moving to the inside, Hyundai redesigned the interior of the SANTA FE to maximize its longer shape. Most notably, an available third-row seat returns in 2024. Passengers in the third row won't feel cramped or uncomfortable, with about 30 inches of legroom and rear vents to keep them cool, even in a Bay Area heat wave. In the second row, passengers get a generous 42 inches of legroom. Models with a second-panel sunroof will feel even more spacious as sunlight enters the cabin.
Most 2024 SANTA FEs will come with leatherette upholstery, while the top trims will have seats wrapped in premium leather. Interior color options include black, gray, brown, and dark green. The new relaxation seats in the SANTA FE allow the front seats to recline, providing a footrest for when you need to pull over and take a quick nap. Second-row power-adjustable captain's chairs are also available.
Power and Performance
While the 2024 Hyundai SANTA FE has changed inside and out, you can expect the same impressive performance as its predecessors. Hyundai has confirmed both the hybrid powertrain and the 2.5-liter turbocharged engine will carry over into the 2024 model year. The hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains combine power and efficiency, outputting 226 horsepower with an estimated 36 mpg combined. With the 2.5-liter engine under the hood, the SANTA FE generates up to 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. It gets an estimated 26 mpg combined, though the EPA hasn't released official figures yet for the 2024 SANTA FE.
As in years past, the Hyundai SANTA FE will have standard front-wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive. With the all-wheel-drive system, the SANTA FE achieves maximum traction on wet, slippery, or uneven roadways. Innovative Technology
In addition to its stylistic changes, the 2024 Hyundai SANTA FE receives state-of-the-art technology to make every trip more enjoyable. A panoramic curved display includes a 12.3-inch integrated dual-screen display for both the digital gauge cluster and the infotainment system. This display makes keeping your eyes on the road easier while accessing essential driver information.
The digital cockpit continues with dual wireless chargers, so you and your front-seat passenger can keep your devices charged without getting out a cable. There are also USB ports in the cabin for added convenience. Also new for 2024, the SANTA FE comes with an ultraviolet-C sterilization tray. This feature allows you to clean and sanitize your phone, wallet, keys, or other items you touch regularly.
The technology doesn't stop there, though. The 2024 Hyundai SANTA FE will come equipped with the latest driver-assistance features to keep you and your passengers safe on the Bay Area roads. These features include the new driver attention warning, which alerts you when it senses your attention may be drifting. A driver monitoring system will also analyze signs to ensure you're driving safely. Other standard or available safety technologies in the Hyundai SANTA FE include:

Exterior Design
The biggest changes to the 2024 Hyundai SANTA FE start on the outside. The all-new SANTA FE looks noticeably different from previous models. It features a boxy silhouette with a tough, rugged design. In the front, the SANTA FE introduces new H-design elements in the lower fascia and the LED headlights. A lightbar extends across the grille, and the lights become animated as you approach the vehicle. In the back, the H-design continues with low-mounted taillights.
Overall, the new SANTA FE is 190.2 inches long, about 1.8 inches longer than the previous generation. That allows the SANTA FE to make the most of its space. A redesigned tailgate provides a wider opening in the back, so it's easier to load your luggage, camping gear, or other essentials into the back. Plus, a hands-free liftgate will be a standard feature in the SANTA FE lineup. For added convenience, the SANTA FE also comes with a new hidden assist handle, so you can access the roof rails more easily.
Trim Levels
Hyundai hasn't confirmed the trim levels for the all-new SANTA FE yet, but it will be available in a range of options so you can choose the best one for your adventurous lifestyle. The hybrid powertrain will once again be an option for the 2024 SANTA FE. This system features a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder paired with standard front-wheel or optional all-wheel drive.
The Calligraphy trim will remain the top trim in the SANTA FE lineup. In 2024, it comes with genuine nappa leather upholstery, wood accent trim, and premium features such as power second-row seats.
Cargo Space
In the back, the Hyundai SANTA FE has more than enough room for whatever you're taking with you. With the third row upright, you'll have access to about 26 cubic feet of cargo volume, so you can easily store groceries or weekend luggage. Additionally, the second- and third-row seats fold completely flat, providing increased functionality when you need to transport boxes, furniture, or other larger items.
The new SANTA FE will have about 75 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume, an increase of 3 cubic feet from the previous generation.
